Course Description

This course introduces students to classical drawing and painting skills. Through structured practice, they learn to observe shapes, build form, and develop coordination between hand, eye, and mind.
Projects include basic still life, simple portrait studies, and creative drawing using pencil, charcoal, and paint. Students are also encouraged to express their ideas through guided artwork. A weekly class for kids aged 8 and up who are new to drawing and painting, with no formal training in basic techniques. No prior experience needed. ********* Note: ********* There will be no classes on the following dates: August 30 & 31 (Labor Day weekend) October 4 & 5 (Fall Break) November 29 & 30 (Thanksgiving weekend)
