Course Description
This course introduces students to classical drawing and painting skills. Through structured practice, they learn to observe shapes, build form, and develop coordination between hand, eye, and mind. Projects include basic still life, simple portrait studies, and creative drawing using pencil, charcoal, and paint. Students are also encouraged to express their ideas through guided artwork. A weekly class for kids aged 8 and up who are new to drawing and painting, with no formal training in basic techniques. No prior experience needed. ********* Note: ********* There will be no classes on the following dates: August 30 & 31 (Labor Day weekend) October 4 & 5 (Fall Break) November 29 & 30 (Thanksgiving weekend)

• Each plan includes the number and length of sessions listed at the time of purchase. Plans are valid within the applicable period as described in the course details. • Sessions are generally booked in advance and are subject to availability. For semester-based drawing and painting courses, one make-up opportunity is typically offered when possible. In some cases, students may attend another class of the same level as a make-up, subject to availability. For ceramics and other specialty courses, make-up options should be discussed directly with the instructor and are not guaranteed. • All plans are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. • Materials or additional fees (such as ceramics firing or special project materials) may vary by class and are specified in the class description.
